Certificates of Analysis (COA)

Our Commitment to Transparency

At Holistic Healing LLC, we believe that trust is built through transparency. Every product we offer is subject to rigorous third-party laboratory testing by independent, ISO-accredited facilities. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is the cornerstone of that commitment — it is your assurance that what is on the label is what is in the product.

What Is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

A Certificate of Analysis is an official document issued by an independent, accredited laboratory that verifies the composition and safety of a product. For dietary supplements and CBD products, a COA typically confirms:

  • Cannabinoid Potency Profile — Exact concentrations of CBD, THC, CBG, CBN, and other cannabinoids present in the product
  • Terpene Profile — Identification and concentration of terpenes, which contribute to the entourage effect in full-spectrum products
  • Heavy Metals Testing — Screening for lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and other toxic metals
  • Pesticide Residue Testing — Verification that no prohibited pesticides or herbicides are present above safe thresholds
  • Residual Solvents — Confirmation that no harmful solvents remain from the extraction process
  • Microbial Contamination — Testing for harmful bacteria, mold, yeast, and other pathogens
  • Moisture Content — Relevant for botanical and powder-based products

How to Read a COA

When reviewing a COA, look for the following key elements:

  • Laboratory accreditation — The lab should be ISO/IEC 17025 accredited, the international standard for testing laboratory competence
  • Batch/Lot number — Matches the batch number on your product packaging, confirming the COA is specific to your product
  • Test date — COAs should be current; look for testing conducted within the past 12 months
  • Pass/Fail results — Each tested parameter should show a clear pass or fail against established safety limits
  • Detected vs. limit values — For contaminants, the detected amount should be well below the established action limit

Our Testing Standards

All products offered through Holistic Healing LLC are tested by independent third-party laboratories prior to being made available to our customers. Our testing protocols meet or exceed industry standards and applicable regulatory requirements. We do not release products that fail any safety parameter.

Accessing COAs

Certificates of Analysis for our products are available upon request. To obtain a COA for a specific product, please contact us with your product name and batch/lot number (found on your product packaging). We are committed to providing COA documentation promptly and transparently.

As our product catalog grows, we will publish COAs directly on individual product pages for immediate access.

Why Third-Party Testing Matters

In-house testing by manufacturers presents an inherent conflict of interest. Independent third-party testing by accredited laboratories provides an unbiased verification of product quality and safety. It is the industry gold standard — and the only standard we accept at Holistic Healing LLC.

When evaluating any health product, always request and review the COA before purchase. If a company cannot or will not provide a current COA from an accredited laboratory, that is a significant red flag.
